      Itinerary

Arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport and our representative will be there holding guest's placards outside of the arrival zone. Our staff will drop guest(s) at the hotel for check-in. We will conduct a first group meeting with the assigned guide at the hotel.
The second day will be filled with a half-day guided walking tour in Kathmandu. The main attractions for the day are Swayambhunath and Kathmandu Durbar Square. We'll arrange transportation and provide an experienced city cultural guide to accompany the group, providing informative commentary. The tour starts after breakfast, beginning with Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple. It's the oldest stupa in the world, and from the top, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Kathmandu Valley. The guide will share insights into its rich history and cultural significance. After Swayambhunath, we'll proceed to Kathmandu Durbar Square, where you'll encounter the old palace and numerous temples, each telling a unique story.
After breakfast, your guide will check all bags for the trek (you can store unnecessary stuff and bags in the hotel). We will take a flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara, flight time will be 25 minutes. After checking into the hotel in Pokhara, you have a free afternoon in Pokhara. Your guide will take you for a short walk around Fewa lake. In the evening the group will meet for dinner together at one of the good restaurants.
Please make sure to get ready before breakfast. After breakfast we will drive to Darbang, it takes around 4-5 hours. We will meet all our trekking crew in Darbang and have lunch and then we will continue our trek to Dharapani. It will take us 3-4 hours to reach Dharapani where we will spend the day and overnight camping.
The Muri village is known for its large community of Magars, one of the oldest ethnic groups in Nepal. Unlike the day before, the path will be difficult as there will be a steep climb. The village is also known for its spectacular view of Mount Dhaulagiri and other mountains around the area.
After a night in Muri, we will then head to Bagar which is another small village in the region. Along the way, we will pass through cattle sheds and farms of the region. We will continuously ascend like the day before where we will hike for a total of 7 to 8 hours depending on circumstances.
We will then proceed to Dobang crossing large forests with lush vegetation. The trail will be relatively easier and may take us 5-6 hours to reach Doban where we will spend the night.
Today, we will head towards the Chaur ban River witnessing the amazing sight of Mount Dhaulagiri. We will then descend to Myagdi Khola and trek to Chartare passing through groves of thick forests and heading to Chaur ban River. We will hike for 6-7 hours on this day.
After spending the night in Chur ban River, we will hike along the Myagdi River to the Italian Base Camp. Throughout the way, we will pass through thick forests and thick groves of bamboo where you may spot animals living around the area. The Italian Base Camp is known for being the resting point for Italians attempting to climb Mount Dhaulagiri. We will then spend the night at the Base camp.
To get ourselves ready for the rest of the trip, we will be spending the day acclimatizing at the Base Camp. Throughout the day, we will be resting ourselves while also exploring the different parts of the base camp.
Today will be the highlight of our trip where we will ascend to Dhaulagiri Base Camp, and it will get us close to witnessing the grand Mount Dhaulagiri which stands atop. We will not only see Mount Dhaulagiri but other peaks surrounding the region. We will trek for a total of 6-7 hours on this day.
This will be another day of acclimatization where we will spend the day resting and exploring the rest of what Dhaulagiri Base Camp has to offer.
After spending an extra day at Dhaulagiri Base Camp, we will then ascend to the Hidden Valley via the French Col/French pass 5,360m We will walk for 6 to 7 hours on this day. The Hidden Valley features spectacular views of Mount Dhaulagiri, Mukut Himal and Tashi Kang. Through the pathway, we will also cross several memorials dedicated to fallen climbers who died while attempting to climb Mount Dhaulagiri. We will then spend the night at the Hidden Valley. Dhampus peak is just above you. If you like to go above 6,000m then this is the best chance. Let us know before the trip. We should make a Peak permit and need a climbing guide.
We will then start our descent towards Yak Kharka after spending the night in the Hidden Valley. Please be mindful that this may be one of the difficult days of the trek and we may need additional equipment depending on the level of snow. It may take up to 8 hours to trek to Yak Kharka where we will spend the night.
We will then start our descent from Yak Kharka towards Marpha which will be a steep descent. It will be 5 to 6 hours of hiking downwards. After having some rest, we will take a local jeep or bus and drive to Tatopani. It takes around 3-4 hours. Overnight in tea house. We will go to take a natural hot spring bath.
After spending the night in Tatopani, we will drive to Pokhara which may take around 4-5 hours. We will spend the rest of the day exploring Pokhara. Paragliding from Sarangkot is one of the best activities in Pokhara. There are several activities in Pokhara like paragliding, Bungee jumping, international mountaineering museum, Davi’s fall and Tibetan refugee camp. Let us know if you want to try any activity in Pokhara.
As the flights to Kathmandu can be arranged at different intervals during the day, you can wake up late and be prepared to head to the airport around 11 am. We will drive to Pokhara airport which takes 30-40 minutes. We will then take a flight to Kathmandu and drive straight to the Hotel. This will be the final evening in Kathmandu so make sure to enjoy the time you have.
Check out time from the hotel at 12 noon. We will arrange your international airport transportation during your departure time. You must be at the airport 3 hours prior to your flight time at Kathmandu International airport.
