      Itinerary

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative. They will be waiting with a guest's placard and will transfer you to your hotel. Hotel checking at 5 PM will be followed by the first group meeting with your guide.
On the second day our experienced guide will provide a half-day city tour in Kathmandu. The top places to visit on that day are Swayambhunath and Kathmandu Durbar Square. We'll arrange transportation and provide an experienced city cultural guide to accompany the group, providing informative commentary. The tour starts after breakfast, beginning with Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple. It's the oldest stupa in the world, and from the top, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Kathmandu Valley. The guide will share insights into its rich history and cultural significance. After Swayambhunath, we'll proceed to Kathmandu Durbar Square, where you'll encounter the old palace and numerous temples, each telling a unique story. You might get an opportunity to see the living goddess Kumari at Kathmandu Durbar square.
Early in the morning, we will take a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and begin our trek to Phakding. The Kathmandu to Lukla flight operates early in the morning so we need to reach the airport accordingly. The flight duration is half an hour offering the mesmerizing mountain views, valleys and rivers. As we land in lukla airport (2,880m) our team will provide hot drinks and we will start our trek to Phakding. The trek leads you through green pine forest, vibrant villages, view of Dudh Koshi river, suspension bridges and encounters the mix of locals, tourists, porters as well as animals (mule and Jopke). In the afternoon you can explore Ghumela village and take a rest.
After breakfast, we will continue our trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m) along the Dudh Koshi river. It takes around 6-7 hours to reach Namche Bazaar and check into Camp de base Hotel or a similar (attached bathroom). The trail passes through small villages Tok tok, Bengkar, Monjo, Jorselle and arrives in Namche Bazaar (the center of Everest region). Along the way, we will get to enjoy the beautiful mountain view of Kongde peak, Thamserku and Kusumkhangru and the first view of Mt. Everest if the weather is really good. We will also be crossing 5 suspension bridges including the famous Hillary/Everest bridge. Sometimes you can have a minor headache due to high altitude, so we recommend walking slowly especially after lunch when you start to ascend around 500 meters to Namche.
Take a rest day in Namche Bazaar to acclimatize to the high altitude. You can also go on a hike to Syangboche for around 3-4 hours. The trail takes you through Namche viewpoint from where we can enjoy the beauty of majestic Mt. Everest (8848.86m) and Mt Lhotse (8516m). We will have a tea break enjoying the view of the beautiful mountain Mt. Ama Dablam (6814m). After enjoying the surrounding view, we will descend back to Namche bazaar. Get refreshed and have lunch. Your guide will take you to one of the best bakeries for dessert and coffee. Explore Namche Bazaar and we suggest you buy souvenirs as we will have a short stop in Namche.
After acclimatization at Namche, we will move forward to another beautiful destination Tengboche. Along the way, we will pass through beautiful villages such as Kyangjuma, Lausasha, and Phungi Thangga. We will take a break at Phungi Thangga for lunch and continue our trek enjoying the beautiful rhododendron forest especially in March and April. Finally, we will reach Tengboche after 5-6 hours of hiking and visit Tengboche monastery. Tengboche monastery is one of the most popular monasteries among Buddhists around the world. Enjoy the monk chanting and you can also meditate while remaining quiet in the monastery. During sunset, don't miss the breathtaking view of the mountains, especially Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Lhotse, and Mt. Everest.
Begin your day by enjoying breakfast early in the morning while taking in the breathtaking view of the sunrise over the mountains. We will continue our trek towards Dingboche passing through old Pangboche village where you can visit the oldest monastery of this region “Pangboche monastery”. You will witness Yeti Skull in the monastery, but you need to get permission to take pictures. The trek will lead us through the Rhododendrons Forest and cross a bridge over the raging Imja river. You can witness the spectacular views of Ama Dablam while ascending towards Dingboche . We will reach Dingboche after an approximate walk of 5-6 hours and take a rest keeping yourself hydrated.
We will take a rest day in Dingboche to acclimatize to the high altitude. Your guide will take you for a day hike to Nangkarsang Danda (5130m) but there is an option to return from the elevation of 4750 meters. Take a proper rest before hiking to higher elevation towards further camp .
Today’s hike from Dingboche to Chhukung is quite short, taking approximately 3-4 hours. The views of Mt. Lhotse (8,516m), Mt. Ama Dablam, Island peak, Nuptse, Tabuche and Amphu Lapcha peak are visible from Chhukung. Enjoy the amazing sunset view and rest for tomorrow’s hike.
The trek from Chhukung to Labuche is quite long and challenging. We start our journey early in the morning and climb a steep path until Khongma la (5,535m). The spectacular view will add extra energy. From Khongma-la you can witness the stunning view of Ama Dablam, Baruntse, Island peak, Mt. Lhotse, Pumori and Labuche peak glaciers. We need to arrive in Labuche on time to avoid the wind. We will arrive at Labuche after crossing Khumbu glacier.
After Labuche, we will start our trek early in the morning for Gorakshap (5180m) and we will also visit Mt. Everest base camp on the same day. Our first destination is Gorakshap, which is around 3 hours away. After that, we will continue to Everest Base Camp, which is a 5-hour journey. Once we reach Gorkashap we will check into the hotel, have lunch and continue our trek to Everest Base Camp. We will spend some time admiring the beauty of the base of the World's highest peak, the Everest Base Camp. You can take pictures and enjoy the view of Khumbu icefall, Khumbu glacier and other mountains. We will descend back to Gorakshapand and take a rest to be prepared for the Kala Patthar trek next morning.
Early in the morning, we will be hiking up to the most beautiful viewpoint in the Everest Region, Kala Patthar (5545m). It takes around 3-3.5 hours to reach Kala Patthar and we continue our trek of around 5 hours to Dzonglha. We must start our trek early in the morning so that we reach the viewpoint to witness the beautiful sunrise. Kala Patthar offers unparalleled views of the surrounding peaks including Mt Everest, South Col, Mt. Pumori and many more glorious mountains. After the photoshoot we will descend back to Gorakshap for breakfast and start our journey to Dzonlha.
The trek from Dzonlha to Dragnak is quite long so we start our journey early in the morning. It's better to start as early as possible because today we'll be passing through Cho-la at 5,368m. We'll mostly be climbing until we reach the top of Cho-la. The surrounding mountain views are amazing. After reaching the top, we'll descend steeply, so we need to be careful as it can be slippery. We will reach Dragnak after 7-9 hours and take a proper rest.
Another beautiful day starts with an easy trek to Gokyo, 3-4 hours of journey. We will cross the Ngozumba glacier, one of the biggest glaciers in Nepal and the World. We need to be careful as it can be slippery. The breathtaking view of Gokyo lake is filled with the shimmering turquoise blue color. Take a rest and we will cimb to Gokyo Ri situated at an elevation of 5357 meters in the afternoon. From Gokyo Ri, we can witness the beautiful sunrise view of Mt. Cho u (8,201m) along with the sight of majestic Mt. Everest (8,848.86m), Mt. Lhotse (8,516m), Mt. Makalu (8,486m) and other mountains (Nuptse, Thamserku, Khangtega, Tabuche, Cholostse, Pumori). Don't forget your headlamp for the way back, as it will be dark.
Today we will start our trek early in the morning. The trek is quite long and one of the last passes. We need to climb a steep path to the top of Renjo-la. You can witness the mesmerizing view of Mt. Everest and Mt. Lhotse from the top. Enjoy the view and we will descend down to Lungden.
The trek from Lungden to Thame is quite short. It will take approximately 4-5 hours to reach thame. The route is mostly downhill. You will feel much better here with more oxygen. Enjoy the green valley of Thame. The accommodation is good, with excellent shower facilities for a refreshing rest.
After breakfast we will start our trek from Thame to Namche Bazaar. Thame is a beautiful village boasting the oldest monastery. You can visit the monastery early in the morning and continue our 3-4-hour journey. The trek will lead us mostly downhill, crossing through lush green pine and rhododendron forests. You will encounter local farmers working in the potato fields along the way. You will reach Namche quite early so your guide will take you to a nice bakery. After dinner you can enjoy your time in the bar.
From Namche we will walk downhill passing through small Sherpa villages and Dudh Koshi river. You will be crossing several suspension bridges. Finally, you will arrive at Lukla after 7-8 hours and enjoy the evening with your Nepali team.
