The temple compound is not only a significant religious site but also serves as a spot for Hindu cremation rituals. Then, head to Boudhanath, a revered Buddhist stupa symbolizing enlightenment and peace with its iconic mandala design and Buddha's watchful eyes. As you encircle the stupa, absorbing the prayers and prayers of the devotees, you will be immersed in the serene atmosphere that encapsulates the essence of Buddhism in Kathmandu, Nepal. This half-day journey promises a glimpse into the spiritual and cultural diversity that defines the vibrant tapestry of Kathmandu.
We will start a scenic journey to Syabru Besi, traveling either by Jeep or Bus along the Kathmandu-Kerung highway, covering a distance of 146 km over approximately 6-7 hours. Along the way you will pass through a lush valley next to the Trisuli River enjoying the region's natural beauty. Upon reaching Syabru Besi, your overnight stop, you will not only feel the excitement of the mountain ride but also enjoy the stunning views of the natural beauty in this part of Nepal.
On the first day of our trek, we begin after having breakfast. Our journey starts with crossing the Trisuli River, followed by a gradual climb. Along the way, we will get a chance to see Langur, the white and black-faced monkey, as well as other fascinating wild animals, which adds a touch of wildlife exploration to our trekking experience. Today's trek lasts around 5-6 hours, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the natural beauty and serenity of the surroundings.
The trek to Langtang Village is truly one of the best. The path involves a gentle climb leading to a stunning valley with a great view of the mountains, including the impressive Langtang Lirung at 7,227 meters. Along the way, we pass through the Ghode Tabela village. The entire Langtang village was unfortunately destroyed by an avalanche during the 2015 earthquake. We will reach Langtang after 5-6 hours of trek.
On today's trek, you will enjoy a brief and delightful journey leading to Kyangjin Gumba. Along the way, you will have the pleasure of witnessing stunning mountain views and the beautiful Langtang valley. The small village of Kyangjin Gumba is charming and alluring. After lunch, you have the option to take a leisurely walk to the Langshisa valley. The valley, seemingly endless in its beauty, can be explored for 1 to 1.5 hours before returning, making the total walking time around 3-4 hours. During your visit, be sure not to miss the opportunity to explore the monastery and the Nak Cheese factory, where you can learn about the traditional production of female Yak cheese.
