      Itinerary

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative. They will be waiting with a guest's placard and will transfer you to your hotel. Hotel checking at 5 PM will be followed by the first group meeting with your guide.
On the second day our experienced guide will provide a half-day city tour in Kathmandu. The top places to visit on that day are Swayambhunath and Kathmandu Durbar Square. We'll arrange transportation and provide an experienced city cultural guide to accompany the group, providing informative commentary. The tour starts after breakfast, beginning with Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple. It's the oldest stupa in the world, and from the top, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Kathmandu Valley. The guide will share insights into its rich history and cultural significance. After Swayambhunath, we'll proceed to Kathmandu Durbar Square, where you'll encounter the old palace and numerous temples, each telling a unique story. You might get an opportunity to see the living goddess Kumari at Kathmandu Durbar Square.
After breakfast, we will begin a 4-6 hours of drive to Besisahar (800m) via the Prithvi Highway. Following a quick lunch, we will take a local jeep to Jagat, a small and beautiful village. The journey to Jagat will take approximately 2-4 hours, allowing you to witness the beauty of lush green forests and rice fields. We'll spend the night in Jagat.
The journey from Jagat to Darapani is quite a long and exciting experience, spanning a trek of 6-7 hours. The trail goes through the enchanting Marsyangdi valley, revealing a tapestry of lush tropical forests, numerous waterfalls, charming villages that add to the allure of the expedition. and crossing suspension bridges over Marsyangdi river. Crossing the Marsyangdi river via unique suspension bridges adds an extra element of adventure, making the entire trek truly captivating and memorable.
The trek to Koto is a beautiful journey following the same valley. The adventure begins with an early morning ascent of Timang, offering a mesmerizing viewpoint to witness the majestic beauty of Mt. Manaslu, the eighth-highest peak in the world. Beyond Timang, the trail continues with a gradual climb, passing through a landscape of up-and-down paths. You will walk through a lush pine forest. The journey takes 5-6 hours to reach Koto, a small town located on the Marsyangdi Riverbank. You can walk around Chame in the afternoon.
Our journey to the Naar River/Valley commences after breakfast. We walk through a narrow valley covered with pine forests until we reach Chhauchha. Continuing our ascent, we gradually make our way to Meta, a trek that typically spans 5-6 hours. The landscape along the way is breathtaking, offering panoramic views of the Pisang Peak and the majestic Mt. Kangaru (6,981 meters). This valley is so clean and beautiful, with few visitors, creating a peaceful atmosphere that allows you to fully enjoy the surroundings in a calm and immersive way.
Our next destination is Phugaon, a village situated above the tree line, with a drier environment. The scenery will mainly feature either dry peaks or snow-covered summits. We will be walking on a trail that gradually goes uphill all day, taking us through beautiful local villages. Phugaon is a bit like Tibet, and the locals are called Manange, originally from Tibet. Along the route, we will encounter numerous Buddhist stupas and Mane stones adorned with three vibrant colors: Red, White, and Black. The day's trek will be both culturally enriching and physically challenging, leading to the beautiful village Phugaon. It will take about 7-8 hours, but it will be worth it!
Today is a free day for acclimatization. Take a proper rest and your guide will take you for a monastery and a village walk. Go around, meet locals, try to learn and understand local life. Meeting and chatting with locals will be fun.
The trek to Mahendra pull is a short and easy journey. The trail is mostly downhill with a time span of 4-5 hours.
The trek to Naar is a short journey, taking around 3 hours to reach the final destination. The path is gradually uphill. In the evening, explore the village and enjoy the beautiful mountain views. It's advisable to rest early to prepare for the activities planned for the next day.
Today is an important day of the trek. We will start our journey before 5 AM, so make sure to pack lunch and carry enough water. We will cross Khang-la pass (5,306m), climbing nearly 1,200m and descending almost 1,650m. The way down is quite challenging, with an estimated time span of 8-9 hours. The view from Khang-la is incredibly beautiful, offering a breathtaking sight of the Annapurna range mountains.
It's a short day of trekking to Manang, with an estimated duration of 3-4 hours. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the Annapurna range mountains on the way.
Take a rest day in Manang to acclimatize to the high altitude. Your guide will take you on a hike around Ganggapurna Lake and to a viewpoint. From there, you'll have the best view of Ganggapurna Glacier and mountains like Mt. Ganggapurna (7,454m), Mt. Annapurna III (7,555m), and Mt. Tare Khang (7,069m), among others. After lunch, you can visit the Himalayan Rescue Center or enjoy some mountain documentaries elsewhere.
The trek to Yak Kharka is relatively easy, spanning about 4-5 hours with a climb of 650m in altitude. Feel free to take breaks and stay hydrated along the way. You'll pass through beautiful grasslands, encounter Yaks, Naks, and possibly some wild animals. The panoramic view of the Annapurna range and other mountains adds to the joy of your day. Once you reach Yak Kharka, take a well-deserved rest and enjoy a good night's sleep.
Another day starts with a short trek to Thorong Phedi, taking 3-4 hours. The trail continues with a gradual climb. As you're now at higher altitudes, above the treeline, it's important to walk slowly and stay well-hydrated by carrying more water. The tea houses may be cozy, although the food might not taste as good, but it's crucial to eat and drink for energy. In the afternoon, consider climbing to the high camp for a short walk and acclimatization. Take extra rest to prepare for the upcoming challenging day. An early dinner and an early bedtime are recommended, as the next day will commence very early.
This is the toughest and most important part of our trek. We're going to cross Throng-la at 5,416 meters, the highest point of our journey. To make it easier, we'll start before 5 AM from Phedi, using headlamps for light. It is a hard climb, and you will feel the high altitude, but the amazing views of Chulu West peak and the sunrise on Throng peak and Yakwakang peak make it all worthwhile. Once we get to the top of Throng-la, at 5,416 meters, take solo and group photos before heading down. After enjoying the moment, we will start going down towards Muktinath. Here, you will see very different landscapes, often called a mini-Tibet in Nepal, especially in the Mustang region. While on the way, think about visiting the Muktinath temple and feeling the spiritual vibes by taking a holy shower in the 108 waterspouts in the temple area. Take a good rest after such a tough day.
While there is the option of taking a drive from Muktinath to Jomsom, choosing the trek presents a special and unique experience. Along the way, it almost feels like a walk through a Tibetan landscape, following the Kali Gandaki river bank. En route, you will encounter a special rock known as Saligram (Fossil). Following a few hours of descent, the path levels out, providing a pleasant walk to Jomsom. It is crucial to reach Jomsom before noon to avoid the strong winds that typically pick up later in the day in the valley. Your guide will arrange local transportation, such as a jeep or bus, for the journey to Ghasa, accompanied by locals from the region.
In the morning, we'll take a short 15 to 17-minute flight from Jomsom to Pokhara on a small twin otter plane. Once in Pokhara check into the hotel and get refreshed. The day in Pokhara is free, and there are no scheduled activities. You can have the option to engage in various activities in Pokhara, such as paragliding, bungee jumping, visiting the International Mountaineering Museum, exploring Davi's Fall, and visiting the Tibetan Refugee Camp. If you wish to engage in any specific activities, please inform your guide, and we will arrange them for you. Otherwise, Pokhara is an excellent place for souvenir shopping. In the evening, explore and enjoy the city, find a nice restaurant, and have a delightful time.
You will take a scenic flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel.
Check out time from the hotel at 12 noon. Our representative will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your final departure. You must reach the airport 3 hours before departure.
